Pavel Chukhraj

Pavel Grigoryevich Chukhray (Russian: Па́вел Григо́рьевич Чухра́й; Bykovo, Moscow Oblast, October 14, 1946) is a film director of Jewish origin[1] from Russia, son of Grigory Chukhray, and a People's Artist of Russia. His most successful film to date was The Thief (1997), nominated to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and winning the Nika Award for Best Picture and Best Directing.
