The Captive is a 1915 American silent romantic war drama film written and directed by Cecil B. DeMille and starring Blanche Sweet.[2] The film was thought to be lost but was rediscovered in 1970 among the films stored in the Paramount Pictures vault.[3] The film is now preserved at the Library of Congress.[2]
