Todd Newton (born James Todd Newton; May 5, 1970) is an entertainment personality, Daytime Emmy winning game show host, and author/speaker.

Career

While visiting Los Angeles in the early 90's to host a movie junket for a St. Louis television station, Todd Newton-then a popular local disc jockey-used the last of his travel money to hire a taxi to take him to the offices of various agents around Hollywood. One agent in particular recognized Newton's talent as well as his passion and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, Todd Newton serves as they Daytime Emmy winning host of Hasbro Studios' popular Family Game Night and the syndicated Monopoly Millionaire's Club.

Since entering the world of game shows he has become one of the most respected hosts on television and been at the helm of numerous productions including GSN's Hollywood Showdown and Whammy!: The All New Press Your Luck.

Prior to awarding contestants cash and prizes, Todd Newton was a regular host on E! Entertainment Television where, for more than a decade, he brought viewers face to face with Hollywood's biggest stars on the red carpet of major award shows and was given the moniker "The Host with the Most."

Newton also tours North America as host of The Price Is Right Live!, an interactive theatrical production of the iconic television show.

The father of two children is the author of multiple books and the founder of The Newton Fund 4 Kids, providing access to state-of-the-art healthcare to children in need.

Newton is also a top rated corporate speaker on the topic of human achievement. Readers are also familiar with the popular Todd Newton SPEAKS blog in which one of our generation's finest conversationalists gives his take on pop culture and world events. Regarding his career as an author, Newton said in 2014, "I do not write because of some rare talent.
