Description
Excerpt: Costumed as Romeo, Alan Fenway finished his impassioned plea to the balcony where the ghost of Hamlet?s father was standing with folded arms. Vera Scharn, otherwise Lady Macbeth, ceased her somnambulistic prowl, tucked her dagger into the sash of her ruffled negligee and shrugged her way off stage. In the background, the Three Witches quit their chant of ?Daily Double, boil and bubble? and left the huge cauldron which smoked with compressed steam in the glow of artificial firelight. Oswald Bodelle turned around in seat D?3, gave a broad?faced smile and queried.
